Open House Event Doubles as a Philanthropic Opportunity
Rogers, AR (December 21, 2006) - Northwest Arkansas Real
Estate recently demonstrated that not all open houses are alike.
On Thursday, Dec. 21, representatives from the real estate company donated
$2,173 to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation for use in pediatric care at St.
Mary's Hospital. The money was raised from a silent auction that Northwest Arkansas
Real Estate held in conjunction with their multi-residence open house event – the
Pinnacle Garden Wine and Cheese Fundraiser.
"This gift and the creative, caring thought that produced it is the truest form of the
Christmas spirit," Linda Gaston, Special Events and Annual Giving Coordinator for
St. Mary's Hospital Foundation. "We are so pleased that Northwest Arkansas Real Estate
thought of the St. Mary's Hospital and the pediatric population we serve as a cause
worth supporting this holiday season."
